Rivkah (Riv) Massey is an Ohio native and long-time resident of Israel. She earned a degree in Theater from Tel-Aviv University and returned to the Greater Cleveland theater community to work professionally. She has taken various supporting roles in production at The Cleveland Play House, Dobama Theatre, and the Beck Center for the Performing Arts before her directing debut with Dobama's alternative theater group, Night Kitchen. Cleveland area productions included the world premiere of Forest City and Theif's Knot, The Underpants, Steel Magnolias, Children's Hour, and the short play collection, Heaven and Hell. After serving for multiple seasons and acting as an Artistic Associate with Dobama's Night Kitchen, Rivkah moved on to greater opportunities in NYC with the independent theatre group, The Milk Can Theatre Company. Productions with Milk Can include The Hamlet Plays (board op), The Uncertainty Principle (assistant director), The Potluck Plays, P.O.V., and workshops of both Consequences and Heffetz. She currently serves as Milk Can's Production Manager. |
